Getting Started

Double-click on the title to get started. Next Double-click on the title to get started.

Searching and Browsing

Once open, the title can be searched and browsed several different ways.
  • You can fill in the Find box at the bottom and click on the flashlight at the top to search.
  • You can click on the Advanced Query button and use it.
  • You can browse by clicking on the plus signs until you see something you want.

Viewing Tables

This is the default table screen. Any text in red or blue is a link. The Scrollable table is good for printing. The text file is best for saving, as the Lotus 1-2-3 format is no longer widely used. Next

Saving

To download data files to your hard drive you will have to work around a bug in the software. Here is a picture of what you ought to be able to do, but can't. Instead, note the name, number and chapter of the series. Go to your file manager and navigate to the CD directory. Double-click on the folder "Text" or "Lotus123" (we recommend "Text"). Find the right chapter folder, double-click and browse to the right table, as indicated in the image below. Do not use the "Export" command in the "File" menu of DynaText, because the data you obtain this way will not be formatted conveniently. Next
