This session will discuss the value of CRS Reports for entry-level undergraduate and high school research assignments. The presentation will discuss the how's, why's and when's for using CRS Reports, and tips for finding this sometimes elusive resource.

Iron Range Research Center - Collections & Activities Steve Harsin


The Iron Range Research Center holds local, state and federal government records, as well as manuscript, photograph, oral history, microfilm, and published materials documenting the history of Minnesota 's Iron Ranges. Major topic areas are mining, logging, Civilian Conservation Corps, labor, local and immigrant history of NE Minnesota and the Iron Range. Learn about current efforts to enhance access to materials held at the Center, and what a researcher needs to do to obtain documents from these collections.
