Use It Because

If you plan on using these tables more than occasionally or would like to create, manipulate, explore, and/or analyze multi-dimensional data tables, you should use the Beyond 20/20® Browser. Once you have downloaded the browser, you can examine statistics from different perspectives, pivot and nest categories, search and sort or select and hide data, turn tables into line or bar charts for easier interpretation, map national mortality rates, export tables to other applications and view documentation at the table, dimension, and item level.

Beyond 20/20 translates tables into a multi-dimensional structure (see images 1 and 2 below) instead of using spreadsheets which use a two-dimensional structure (see image 3). The user navigates the dimension by using the arrows in the top toolbar.
